With over 30 years of combined public service and military experience, Bob is driven by a simple but powerful belief: that infrastructure is more than concrete and steel — it’s how we connect communities, empower economies, and serve the public good.
For more than two decades, Bob worked at the intersection of transportation and federal funding, helping deliver vital infrastructure projects across the nation working for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). His deep knowledge of infrastructure grants, project administration, and federal regulations made him a go-to expert across the country — and led to the development of national policy that continues to shape how federal funds are administered today.
A recognized subject matter expert in grants management and compliance, Bob has trained thousands of state, local, and tribal recipients on everything from 2 CFR 200 and risk assessment to indirect cost proposals, subrecipient monitoring, and final audits. His reputation is built not only on expertise — but on a genuine passion for public service and the people doing the work on the ground.
Now, as the founder of InfraGrant Strategies, Bob continues that mission — providing expert guidance, strategic support, and hands-on partnership to help organizations deliver federally funded infrastructure projects that matter.
